Transcribed from The Akron Beacon Journal:-

Mrs Eliza Hocking, 54, 195 Gale st., a survivor of the Titanic, died Wednesday morning at the city hospital, just two years to the day after she was rescued from the sinking ship, from injuries received in an accident in front of the city hospital at 6p.m., Tuesday. It is supposed that she was struck by an auto or other street conveyance after alighting from the street car. The police are investigating the possibility that she may have been a victim of hold-up men.
She was picked up unconscious by Dr. C. E. Norris and Dr. C. W. Millikin, and taken from the street to the hospital, where it was found that she had a long scalp wound in the back of the head and was cut and bruised about the body. She died at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Mrs. Hocking was en route to visit her daughter, Mrs. Emily Richards, 225 Arch st. She was identified by a water receipt in her pocket.
Two years ago today, Mrs. Hocking, accompanied by her two daughters, Mrs. Emily Richards, Mrs. Nellie Henbly, 195 Gale st., and her son, George, were aboard the sinking Titanic when it hit the icebergs. George was drowned. The women were saved. George had lived in Akron before and had returned to England to regain his health and later accompanied his mother and sisters to this country.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2.30 at the home. Burial in Glendale cemetery.
